Balconies and Terraces

Speed is vital for balcony and terrace applications.

Our PMMA system offers unmatched performance and versatility, as well as rapid curing properties. Rainproofing can be achieved in just 15–18 minutes at 20°C, ensuring quick turnaround times even in challenging conditions. The two-component (2K) system, powered by a peroxide catalyst, allows for variable curing times from five to 45 minutes, and performs reliably in temperatures from -15°C to +35°C, with up to 99 per cent humidity.

Flame-free and easy to apply, our PMMA system effortlessly waterproofs complex details without the need for terminations or mechanical fixings. It resists substrate migration, ensuring long-lasting durability while delivering superior aesthetics in an extensive range of RAL colours – offering a seamless and visually stunning solution for any balcony or terrace project.

Detailing:

WestWood PMMA waterproofing is a highly effective solution for providing a durable, seamless, and waterproof barrier that safeguards building structures from the elements. It performs exceptionally well under heavy rain and snowfall, ensuring your property remains protected. The long-lasting nature of the PMMA system makes it a sound investment, preserving both the integrity and value of your property over time.

One of the key advantages of PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate) is its flexibility. This flexibility allows it to adapt to the natural movements of structures such as balconies, which are often subject to expansion, contraction, or shifts due to temperature changes. By accommodating these movements, the PMMA waterproofing system helps prevent common issues like cracks and spalling, which can compromise the structure. This makes it particularly beneficial in regions with significant temperature variations, providing reliable protection and peace of mind.
